Applying for Global Camp Staff

Accreditation from the British Columbia Camping Association and Global Camp’s summer policy require summer staff to attend the staff training week prior to the summer service. This training week is a key time for staff to learn their roles, gain confidence in their responsibilities, and integrate into our
community focused on providing a quality experience for campers

Staff Training

Requirements for Support Positions

Some support staff positions require certification or experience in specific courses, safety protocols, or other activities. For example, the multimedia position requires experience and skills in photography, video editing, and other multimedia tasks. Additionally, leadership positions are offered to individuals with at least one year of camp experience or qualifications based on age and maturity.

In addition to our core team of paid staff, we also offer volunteering opportunities at Global Camp. If you are interested in contributing as a volunteer and sharing your talents and time with campers, we would be delighted to explore this option with you.
